We are a ‘Uniform’ school. We believe that a uniform looks smart, wears well and contributes to a feeling of belonging to the school. This policy is supported by all our parents. The basic colours are navy racing green, grey and white.
Our school uniform consists of:
- White Shirt/blouse/polo shirt
- Grey skirt or pinafore
- Grey trousers
- Racing green sweatshirt, cardigan or jumper with or without school logo
- Green checked summer dress
- Green fleece (optionally bearing the school logo)
PE Kit:
- White round neck t-shirt with or without school logo
- Black shorts or leggings/joggers
- Black pumps
- P.E. kit should be in a named bag
Please note that although we offer uniform bearing the school logo, any uniform of the correct colour above is absolutely fine and our logo is entirely optional.
We ask that all items of clothing and personal belongings are marked with your child's name. This can save so much time and upset when things get lost!
Uniform Rules
Hair - Children are not allowed to come to school with unnatural coloured dyed or outlandish/extreme hairstyles that cause a distraction to others e.g. mohican
Jewellery - Children are not allowed to wear jewellery in school. Watches and medical bracelets are allowed, providing the child understands that they are their own responsibility.
Earrings - We would prefer children not to wear earrings. If earrings have to be worn then only the small studs are allowed. To meet health and safety regulations all earrings must be removed for all PE lessons. Teachers are not able to remove or replace earrings - this must be the child's responsibility.
If children are attending School within the six week time frame of having their ears newly pierced, they must be covered with plasters before they attend School.
